- Role: Lead due diligence, deal negotiation; M&A sourcing, aquisition, and integration; board member

Roaster, packager, and distributor of premium branded coffee, as well as an operator and franchisor of cafes and restaurants under various brands. Thesis focused on capitalizing on the rapid growth of the single-serve coffee pod market.
- Transaction: 100% acquisition to support entreprenuers in obtaining liquidity for retirement
- Role: Lead sourcing, due diligence, deal negotiation; debt financing; recruited C-Suite management team to replace retiring entrepreneurs; lead board member; lead bifurcated exit process (sold wholesale / roasting and cafee operations separately and simultaneosly)
- Highlights: Stabilized underperforming cafes side of the business; achieved 5-year growth plan inside of 2.5 years; successful exit with a 5.3x realized return on capital
